Xylene

Xylene is an aromatic hydrocarbon consisting of a benzene ring with two methyl constituents. Three isomers exist depending on the location of the methyl groups on the ring. It is commonly used as a solvent in the printing, rubber and leather industries and as a cleaning agent for steel, silicon wafers, and integrated circuits.
