Heptane

Heptane is used extensively in laboratories as a totally non-polar solvent. It is also used as mixed isomers in paints and coatings, as a solvent for rubber cement, and as outdoor stove fuel. Pure n-Heptane is used for research and development and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
