Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic Chemicals

Puritan Products provides several fiberglass reinforced plastic chemicals used in the fiberglass reinforced plastics (FRP) industry. The cobalt containing products, cobalt 6% naphthenate and cobalt 12% octoate, are often used as catalysts, accelerators, or driers for polyester resins used as the matrix in a FRP. Dimethylaniline (DMA), diethylaniline (DEA), and dimethylacetoacetamide (DMAA) are all used as promoters in the curing of polyester and vinyl ester resins. All of the FRP materials are available in a variety of package sizes.
