Sustainability… It’s A Long-Term Commitment

Sustainability means accountability. We all must practice it for the good of the planet we call home. Puritan Products cares about the quality of the environment as much as we care about the quality of our product. We promote environmental and safety awareness within our company and community to help preserve the quality of our natural resources, while protecting and enhancing the conditions of our neighborhoods.

At Puritan Products, complying with applicable federal, state and local environmental, health and safety regulations and pollution prevention are deeply rooted commitments we take very seriously. We continuously monitor and improve our environmental management systems and overall sustainability efforts at every opportunity. We recycle, recover and reuse wastes whenever and wherever possible.

Our environmental management system (comprising several different operating systems) is something in which we take great pride. The individual components of each system were designed and constructed (in-house) by Puritan Products employees and consist of the following:

• Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA-DEP) Permitted Air Emission Abatement System
• PA-DEP Permitted Elementary Neutralization System
• PA-DEP Permitted Solid Residual Waste System
• EPA-Permitted Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator
• Spill and Vapor Monitoring Systems Video Surveillance System
• Perimeter Security
