Puritan Products grants the EPA a voluntary audit

The EPA expressed interest in auditing the Puritan Products facility after news of the CHER-CAP experience broke. The EPA was enthusiastic about the positive results and national attention received by the partnership between OSHA and the participants of the LVISN and expressed interest in fostering similar relations with industry.

Since Puritan Products, Inc. has made the preservation and protection of the environment a top priority, we welcomed the EPA audit. The EPA assisted us in our quest to operate in a manner above and beyond what the law requires. The experience proved that the EPA is also willing to work with industry non-intrusively while providing instruction and guidance at no cost and without fines.

We at Puritan continue to promote environmental awareness in our own workplace and by example throughout the Lehigh Valley and the entire chemical industry.
