Puritan Products, Inc. employs approximately 30 employees. Among those employees are a core group of eight people that comprise the management team of the company and which bring a combined industry experience of almost 150 years. These people manage a variety of personnel in production, shipping and handling, maintenance, compliance, quality control, human resource and clerical roles. We employ a breadth of experience and knowledge that equates to better products and services for our customers.
The management team consists of the following people:
Louis DiRenzo—President & General Manager
Lou is a co-founder of Puritan Products which was established in 1987. He has 20 years of experience in the chemical industry with a specific focus on servicing the semiconductor and reagent process chemicals and laboratory markets. He has a broad range of experience in operations, purchasing, transportation compliance, sales, and marketing.
Thomas Starner—Vice President of Operations
Tom has nearly 30 years of experience in the chemical industry. He has engineered and constructed production facilities for hydrofluoric acid, ammonium fluoride, high-purity acids, photoresist strippers, and post CMP cleaning chemicals across the United States. Tom is instrumental in the design and engineering of our process equipment used for routine and contract manufacturing. He is also responsible for managing all environmental, health, and safety matters throughout our organization.
Christine Uttard—Managerial Accountant and Administration Manager
With her well rounded business experience and longevity at Puritan Products, Chris is the point person for the company. She has a breadth of experience in purchasing, expediting, sales, human resources, customer service, computer networking, and accounting accumulated over 25 years in many industries including chemicals.
Gay Richards—Customer Service Specialist
Gay’s customer service experience spans over 30 years in both consumer and industrial markets. Her additional experience in accounting, inventory management, and logistics enable her to proactively meet customer demands. Her focus is on our customers and providing them with the products and information they need when they need it.
Glenn Coon—Production and Purchasing Manager
Glenn possesses extensive chemical industry experience in the semiconductor and reagent sectors. He has been in the chemical industry for nearly 30 years in various management capacities including scheduling, distribution, production, and purchasing. Glenn has successfully implemented Lean and Agile manufacturing in our plant.
Donna Long—Director of Marketing
Donna has over 18 years of experience in the chemical industry ranging from laboratory technician, pilot scale production, research and development, technical and customer service, and marketing to both the laboratory and semiconductor markets.
Matthew Walczer—Director of Sales & Business Development
Matt has been a sales professional for over twenty years. He has successfully grown sales in markets including chemicals, capital equipment, and engineering services. Matt's familiarity with biotech and pharmaceutical industries compliments the varied expertise of others on the management team to yield a well-rounded organization poised for significant growth in the coming years.
